  • Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI scan). Doctors can examine your anatomy by using magnetic and radio waves. Saint Vincent Hospital operates the sole 3T MRI in Erie County, which enhances cancer, orthopaedic, and neurologic imaging versus typical MRIs.
  • General ultrasound. Also called a sonogram, our experts create images of organs, tissues, and other structures within your body using sound waves.
  • X-ray. Electromagnetic waves create pictures of your body. Often used to spot broken bones, pneumonia, or cancer.
  • Nuclear medicine. We use a small dose of radioactive material and special cameras to get a clear view inside your body.
